Dr. Corey Martin is a founder of the Bounce Back Project and lead physician in Allina Health’s response to clinician burnout. Corey strives to create an environment of opportunity in which all of us can do the deep, heartfelt work of changing the way we show up and interact in each other’s lives. One of the ways he does this is by facilitating resilience retreats (like this). He proudly refers to himself as a recovering perfectionist and an aspiring “good enoughist”.

Christy Secor has brought her experiences as a daughter, wife, mother, and nurse in military and civilian hospitals as well as in higher education to her current role at Buffalo Hospital, and as a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator – Candidate. What does it mean to live brave? To whole-heartedly show up in conversations and relationships and engage authentically in a meaningful dialogue? Christy’s choice to choose courage may just surprise you. It’s a journey that is life-giving.


Karla Heeter serves as the Executive Director of the Buffalo Hospital Foundation and is one of the innovators of the Bounce Back Project. She has been offering humorous motivational presentations for more than 20 years. Her light hearted approach to living the life you’ve always imagined will inspire you to do the same. Karla has a passion for life and a deep desire to make a difference.
